Rain, looping, for a quiet desk
Rain is the default study texture for a reason: it is broadband enough to cover household noise, and it does not have a melody that steals attention. This page is the recording itself. Press play, leave the tab open, and work. There is no playlist, no login, and no equalizer. The file is CC0 public domain, trimmed at the loop seam so the restart does not click.
Use it when the room is too sharp — traffic, a fridge, a hallway conversation. Rain does not replace a group. If you want people to see that you sat down, open a StudyBuddy room and keep this loop in another tab, or pick Rain from the in-room sound panel. The panel plays the same file. This page exists so a search for “rain sounds for studying” can land on the actual audio instead of an empty JavaScript shell.
If rain is too wet and you wanted thunder, use the storm loop. If you wanted water without weather, use waves. The eight free sounds are different textures, not eight names for the same hiss.
