Waves, not a beach playlist

Wave loops often have a slap at the seam — a 50-millisecond spike that you start to anticipate every minute. That spike was cut from this file. What is left is water moving, without gulls, without a boardwalk, without music. CC0 from the same nature set as rain and forest, so the three water-adjacent sounds are actually different: rain is weather on a roof, waves are a shore, storm is rain plus distant thunder.

Waves suit long writing. The cycle is slower than rain, so it does not read as static. If the swell makes you drowsy, switch to cafe. If you wanted thunder, switch to storm. Do not stack this page with the in-room panel; you would hear two copies of the same file, slightly out of phase.
