A quiet cafe, not a food court
Most cafe loops are too busy: dishes, a playlist, a laugh that repeats. This recording is chatter and a milk frother at a distance. It was picked over louder “bustling cafe” files because those steal the timer. Licence is CC0 (Freesound, Anya_Media). Attribution is not required; crediting the recordist is still decent, so the name is here.
Cafe is the people-shaped texture in the set. Use it when rain feels lonely and a library is too dead. Words in the background are muffled enough that you should not start transcribing them. If a phrase becomes audible and annoying, that is the limit of cafe noise — switch to wind or rain, which have no speech.
In a StudyBuddy room this is a local mix. Other members do not hear your cafe, and you do not hear theirs. The page exists so “cafe sounds for studying” can resolve to audio instead of an app download.
